"Apparent Gang Related Shooting Claims 31 Year Old Victim"

Los Angeles - On Wednesday, November 29, 2000, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the victim Tyrone Tony Durio, a 31 year old male Black, was driving his vehicle in the 200 block of East 90th Street when suspect(s) not yet identified shot at the victim. The victim attempted to flee from his vehicle on foot and the suspects(s) continued chase and shoot at the victim. Los Angeles City Fire Department Rescue Ambulance responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

The motive of this crime appears to be gang related.

Southeast Operations Support Division is conducting the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Southeast Homicide detectives Compton or Zorrilla at 323-789-1494.
