13-Year-Old Missing Since Halloween


Los Angeles: On Wednesday, October 31, 2001, at approximately 7:30 a.m., 13-year-old Troy Yancy was reported missing. Yancy is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 5'2", 110 lbs. Thin build with medium complexion.

Yancy was angry because he was not allowed to go out for Halloween. The following day, Yancy left home and has not returned home as of November 5, 2001.

Officers' investigation revealed that Yancy has been reported missing several times in the past. According to Yancy's mother, he is possibly in the area of Adams Boulevard and Gramercy Place in Los Angeles. Investigating officers have been searching for Yancy without any results.
