"77TH Area Child Abduction Regional Emergency"

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the Media provide the public with the following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.

On November 24, 2001, at approximately 2:30 P.M., the missing child was forcibly taken from 8731 South Western Avenue. The child was under the care of her cousin who has legal custody. The child was taken by her sister, 24 year old Johnte Archer, a female Black, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'9", 135 pounds and medium build. The suspect and child were seen entering a newer model Volvo, no further description and left the location southbound on Western Avenue. The sister of the child has no legal custody over her and is thought to be heading to either Washington, DC, or Houston, Texas.

The missing child is Chloe Archer, a female Black, 8 years old, born on 2-4-93. She has black hair, brown eyes, is 4'6" tall and weighs 60 pounds. She is of medium build and light complexion.

Anyone with information that may help in this investigation is urged to call the 77th Street watch commander at 213 485-4164. The station is located at 7600 South Broadway.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

November 25, 2001

An additional suspect has been identified in the kidnapping of Chole Archer. The suspect is identified as 35 years old Lamar Latham. Mr. Latham is a male Black, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds, he has black hair and brown eyes.
