Homicide Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting

Los Angeles: On Monday, November 18, 2002, at approximately 8:05 p.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a shooting call in the 4500 block of Beverly Boulevard. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that a male victim had sustained numerous gunshot wounds. Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was chased down the street by several male, Hispanic suspect (s). One suspect fired numerous shots at the victim, fatally wounding him.
 
The victim has been identified as 25 year-old, Edgar Antonio Corrales of Los Angeles.
The motive and a suspect description has not been determined.
