Los Angeles: On Saturday, November 15, 2003, at 8:00 a.m., The
Los Angeles Police Department along with support from the Oriental Mission
Church will be hosting the Bilingual Recruitment Expo. The objective of this
event is to attract qualified police officer candidates by showcasing career
opportunities within the Department.
The Police Officer written test will be given twice during the Expo. This
event will be held at the Oriental Mission Church, located at 424 North
Western Avenue, on Saturday, November 15, 2003, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is anticipated that over 500 attendees interested in a law enforcement
career will attend this event. Recruiters anticipate that showcasing the
various LAPD career opportunities at this event will attract bilingual
candidates who are interested in a public service career.
During this event, the members of Korea-American Chambers will be serving
free lunch.
