Los Angeles: This year’s “Fight For Life” extravaganza is
in its 10th year. The event has helped to raise nearly $350,000.00 and
continues to grow in popularity and support. In the past, both the LAPD and
LASD have joined together and competed against the likes of Scotland Yard,
London and New York Police and Fire Departments. Once again, this year, the
event features a mixed team of not only law enforcement officers, but also
members from City and County fire departments.
The City of Hope Medical Center helps thousands of people, young and old,
around the world every year in an effort to combat cancer. Your attendance
at this exciting night of boxing will help to support the City of Hope and
the funds will go directly to saving lives and knocking out cancer.
