$25,000 Reward Offered for Murder Case

Los Angeles : On November 22, 2004 , at 2:00 p.m. , Northeast Area Homicide Detectives will be having a news conference to announce a $25,000 reward.

The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting information from the public regarding the murder of 49 year-old Dennis Bruce Trollope, a male Caucasian. The murder occurred on September 13, 2004 , at about 12:30 a.m. , in the 1600 block of North Allesandro Street in Echo Park .

Mr. Trollope was seen exiting his Ford pick-up truck in the afternoon of September 12, 2004 . He was in the company of an unidentified male, who was wearing a straw hat and carrying a dark colored duffel bag. At this time in the investigation, the unidentified person’s involvement in the homicide is unknown. Detectives would like to identify and interview this person in relation to the murder of Mr. Trollope.

The City of Los Angeles is offering a $25,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this case.
