Man Shot and Killed in Panorama City

Los Angeles : On Tuesday, November 23, 2004 , at about 8:40 p.m. , Officers from Devonshire Area, Van Nuys Area and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting call at the 13800 block of Roscoe Boulevard . A lone occupant of a vehicle had collided with an exterior wall of a closed (car wash) business. The driver was shot by at least one occupant of a second vehicle as they both traveled westbound on Roscoe Boulevard . The victim was struck multiple times in the upper and lower torso as the cars entered the intersection at Woodman Avenue .

The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the building penetrating the interior portion. The victim is a thirty two year-old resident of Panorama City , he was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. His name is being withheld pending notification to family members.
