Man Shot and Killed in Panorama City

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at about 2:24 p.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 8800 block of Tobias Avenue, in Panorama City.

Upon arrival, the officers observed a victim of multiple gunshot wounds down at the location. Preliminary investigation revealed that 2-3 male Hispanic suspects exited a dark gray or green full sized SUV and confronted the victim. The suspects shot the victim multiple times in the upper torso and fled the location in their vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics transported the victim to Providence Holy Cross Hospital. The victim was pronounced dead a short time later. The victim has been identified as 23 year-old Yaniv Bahshian, a resident of Van Nuys.
