Vandals Target McDonald’s Restaurant at Harbor Gateway

Los Angeles : On Saturday, November 20, 2004 , at about 4:15 A.M. , Harbor Area patrol officers responded to investigate an incident of vandalism at the McDonald’s Restaurant, located at 1452 West Carson Street .

The preliminary investigation revealed that unknown suspect or suspects broke several glass windows of the restaurant by throwing pieces of bricks and concrete through them. The vandal(s) used spray-paint and markers to write several messages on the walls, doors, and windows and on the drive-through display menu.

The vandals painted the initials “ALF” (Animal Liberation Front), a known organization that had targeted actions to other fast food restaurants in the past.
