Detectives Investigate the Death of a Man from Canyon Country

Los Angeles:  On Friday, November 18th, around 7:30 p.m., officers from Mission Division responded to an "Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Shots Fired" radio call in the 13000 block of Macneil Street in Sylmar.  When the officers arrived they saw Juan Borjas, a 20-year-old resident of Canyon Country, lying in the roadway. 

Homicide Detectives investigating the incident said that an unknown suspect or suspects confronted Mr. Borjas, fired multiple gunshot wounds, then left the scene.  Victim Borjas was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
