Man Shot When Trying to Leave the Parking Lot of a Bank

Los Angeles:  On Friday, November 18th, around 2:45 p.m., Mission Area Officers responded to a radio call at the Bank of America located at 8324 Van Nuys Boulevard in Panorama City. 

When the officers arrived to the rear parking lot of the bank, they saw Alfredo Arce, a 31-year-old resident of San Fernando, sitting in the driver's seat of his car.  Victim Arce suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics. 

The preliminary investigation has shown that Mr. Arce and a man described as a male Hispanic in his 50's exchanged words in the parking lot behind the bank.  The suspect then fired multiple gunshots at Mr. Arce as he was attempting to drive away.  After the shooting the suspect left the parking lot in a 1980's light color SUV. 
 
Mission Homicide Detectives are investigating the murder of Alfredo Arce and need the public's help to identify and locate the suspect. -Police Publish Photos of Murder Suspect-

The preliminary investigation indicated that Mr. Arce and the suspect, Juan Carlos Peredes, a 52-year-old male Hispanic, had exchanged words in the parking lot behind the bank.  Peredes then fired multiple gunshots at Mr. Arce, as Arce was attempting to drive away.  After the shooting, Peredes left the parking lot in a 1984 Ford Bronco, California License 4SDB488. 

The suspect is described as a 52-year-old male Hispanic, 5'8" tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.  He sometimes goes by the alias of Juan Carlos Garcia.
