Man Found Shot in Mission Hills

Los Angeles: A 44-year-old Mission Hills man was found shot to death in the 14800 block of San Fernando Mission Boulevard in Mission Hills.

On Monday, November 21, 2005, at about 5:45 PM, Mission Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call where they observed the victim, Rojerio Rayas, lying in the roadway. Rayas had received several gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to a local hospital. Rayas died from his injuries a short time later.

The motive is unknown.

The suspect(s) are unknown and detectives are attempting to locate additional witnesses.
