Los Angeles: The City of Los Angeles has announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects who murdered Morris Moran.
On September 8, 2007, at around 10:00 p.m., Mr. Moran was leaving a Quinceanera that was held at 601 South Western Avenue. Two unidentified suspects approached Mr. Moran from behind and one of them shot him in the back. Mr. Moran was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. He was 27 years of age.
Councilmember Herb Wesson, Jr. has announced an offer of a $50,000 reward, leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the suspect responsible for the murder.
One suspect was described as a male Hispanic, 5’ 8” in height, 160 pounds, wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The other suspect was described only as wearing a blue suit.
