WHY:
Community forums were established to promote mutual understanding and respect through collaborative partnerships with community leaders throughout the City of Los Angeles. Forums continued to serve as an important communication link between the Police Department and the community. Participants represent a broad cross-section of the City’s multi-cultural communities.

Attending communities are Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Forum, Hispanic Forum, Religious Forum, African American Forum, and Asian Pacific Islander Forum.
