Los Angeles: A local cockfighting organizer was arrested and game fowl rescued.

On November 29, 2007, at around 8:15 AM, the Los Angeles City Animal Cruelty Task Force (ACTF) served a search warrant in the 2600 block of Whittier Boulevard in the Hollenbeck Area. The ACTF received a complaint regarding cockfighting at the location. The neighbors complained about the noise from the roosters that disturbed them and effected the quality of life in their neighborhood.
