Woman Found Dead Inside Her Home

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department Criminal Gang Homicide Division detectives have arrested 53-year-old John Ewell, a resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of 53- year-old Denise Roberts, also a resident of Los Angeles.

On October 13, 2010, at about 3:30 p.m., Roberts’ husband returned home to the 12600 block of South Hoover Street to discover his wife dead inside the home.  He immediately called 911.  

Paramedics responded and pronounced Mrs. Roberts dead at the scene.  The cause of death is pending the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office investigation.
