WHY:           
With the holidays approaching, the community and law enforcement officials of the Devonshire Area are combining their efforts to combat crime within their community.  The goal of these efforts is to enjoy a holiday season free from crime within the neighborhoods of the Devonshire area.    Adhering to the Department’s 2014 goal of crime reduction and community engagement, the LAPD Devonshire Area maintains a strong working relationship with the business community and citizen volunteer group.  This media event will include a Burglary from Motor Vehicle demonstration, neighborhood crime prevention methods, and an introduction to the Devonshire Area’s Citizen Volunteer Bicycle Patrol and E Business Watch Website.
