Victim Shot and Killed in Vehicle

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Wednesday, October 27, 1999

On Tuesday afternoon, October 26, 1999 at approximately 12:30 P.M., the victim, Tailey Robinson, a male Black, 23 years old, was inside his vehicle in the area of 45th Street and Halldale Avenue, in the City of Los Angeles. Unknown suspect(s) approached him and fired several rounds into his vehicle. Robinson sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was transported to a local hospital where he failed to respond to medical treatment and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The motive is unknown. The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.

77th Street Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is requested to call 77th Street Homicide Detectives at 213-485-1385.
