Map Release of Sexual Assault Registrants in the Foothill Area

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Friday, October 22, 1999

With Halloween approaching the Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Area is releasing a map [PDF] of 446 sexual assault registrants in Foothill Area. Although the names and exact addresses of these registrants are not being released we are giving parents an idea of where these offenders reside. Parents and other community member's may come into any Los Angeles Police Station and check the Megan's law computer system for more detailed information. This CD ROM system is available 24 hours a day to California residents 18 years of age or older, provided they have a California driver's license or identification card and are not a registrant themselves.

We are encouraging all parents to go with their children when they go out this season.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Foothill Area wish you and your family a safe Halloween.

If you have any questions, you may call 818-834-3115 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 818-756-8861 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
