Victim Attacked by Sexual Predator

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Tuesday, October 12, 1999

On October 11, 1999, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a sexual assault occurred at a residence in the 3800 block of Berryman Avenue of Pacific Area.

The victim was asleep in the residence when the suspect entered the location possibly through an unlocked door or window. He attacked and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic dark hair, dark eyes, 5'7" to 5'9" tall, 160 pounds, in his early to mid 20's, wearing dark clothing. At the time of the assault, the suspect spoke to the victim in English and Spanish.
