"Shooting Claims One"
Los Angeles - On Friday, October 13, 2000, at approximately 12:30 a.m., victim Mike Anthony Urbina, male Hispanic, 20 years of age, was standing on the 1600 block of West Temple Street. Numerous witnesses heard several gunshots and observed Urbina enter a local bar located on the same block in which he was shot. Urbina was suffering from a gunshot wound when patrons from inside the bar transported him to an area hospital.
Urbina soon died upon arriving at the hospital as a result of his wounds. The motive for this shooting appears to be gang related. The suspect and weapon are outstanding.
