"Man Shot for Unknown Reasons"

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at approximately 10:25 p.m., witnesses in the 1800 block of 107th Street reported hearing gunshots in the area. According to witnesses, they went to investigate and found a victim, later identified as Mr. Ray Howard, lying in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. The witnesses reported not seeing any suspects and/or vehicles in the area. Mr. Raymond was transported to Martin Luther King-Drew Medical Center, and at approximately 11:45 p.m. he succumbed to his wounds.
