"Candlelight Peace March Against Crime"

Hollywood - On Wednesday, October 25, 2000 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Area Community Police Station will sponsor a Candlelight Peace March Against Crime.

This event is a partnership between the community and the police, and its purpose is to help prevent crime in neighborhoods. The recent rise in crime has made everyone aware that we are all responsible for crime prevention in our neighborhoods.

The march will begin at the Hollywood Community Police Station, located at 1358 North Wilcox Avenue, at 6:00 p.m. The participants will then march to The Enrique Noquera Community Education Garden, located at June Street and Fountain Avenue in the Hollywood area.
