"Gang Related Shooting Leaves 15 Year Old Dead"

Pacoima - On Sunday, October 22, 2000, at 4:45 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a Shots Fired radio call in the 12500 block of Filmore Street. The preliminary investigation indicated that the victim, a 15 year old male Hispanic, a resident of Pacoima, was shot during an argument with rival gang members. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

The person(s) responsible have not been identified at this time. The murder is gang related, but no motive has been established.
