"Quarterly Town Hall Meeting"

Van Nuys - On Thursday, October 26, 2000 the San Fernando Valley Hate Crime Alliance will be holding their Quarterly Town Hall Meeting at Valley College in the "Little Theater" located at 5800 Fulton Ave. The social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a panel discussion at 7:00 p.m.

The topic of discussions will be "Why do people hate?" The goal is to generate discussion, understanding and to promote education with the hope of reducing and eliminating problems in the area of hate crimes.

The event will be moderated by Mario Machado and the panel will include religious community members, students from Grant High School and a social activist.
