"22 Year-Old Dies in Fatal Traffic Collision"

Sherman Oaks - On Saturday, October 28, 2000, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Mr. Daniel Bahnar Grannett, a 22 year old resident from the State of Pennsylvania was traveling northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard in a 1999 Acura when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway, north of Royal Wood Drive and collided with a tree.

Mr. Grannett died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The passenger in the vehicle, Scott Michael Repass was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for moderate injuries.

There is no apparent evidence of a crime and this incident is currently being investigated as a traffic collision. The follow up investigation has been assigned to Valley Traffic Division Detectives.
