  • Rick J. Caruso, President

  • Rose Ochi, Vice President

  • Bert Boeckmann, Commissioner

  • David S. Cunningham, III, Commissioner

  • Silvia Saucedo, Commissioner
    Special Guest:

  • Los Angeles Councilmember Ed Reyes

When: Tuesday, October 16, 2001, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Where: Divine Saviour Church and School, 624 Cypress Avenue, Cypress Park, CA 90065 (Exit Figueroa Street from the Pasadena Freeway)

What: To learn the community’s concerns and ideas, the members of the Board of Los Angeles Police Commissioners have reinstated evening meetings in the community. These meetings will be held quarterly throughout the City of Los Angeles. The public is encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on crime, the Department’s efforts in combating crime, community policing, or whatever they would like the Commission to know.

Why: The members of the newly-appointed Police Commission see community meetings as an integral component of their responsibility which is to oversee the Los Angeles Police Department on behalf of the people of Los Angeles.
