Critical Missing 15 Year Old Girl

 

Boyle Heights: Hollenbeck Detectives are conducting a missing juvenile investigation in which the subject, 15 year old Karina Escapete Gonzalez, suffers from a severe calcium deficiency and hyperthyroid condition. The missing juvenile is at risk due to the fact that failure to take her daily medication could result in life threatening seizures. The subject is described as a female Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’4", 109 lbs., with a small build and medium complexion. The subject was last seen on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at 7:00 a.m. when she left her residence, 100 block Boyle Avenue, enroute to Roosevelt High School, 456 South Matthews Street in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating this missing juvenile. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this subject is requested to contact the Hollenbeck Area Watch Commander 213-485-2942 or Hollenbeck Operations Support Division at 323-526-3000 during business hours.
