Los Angeles: Los Angeles City Councilman Hal Bernson
of the 12th District, will be honoring Los Angeles Police
Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics for their dedication to duty,
commitment to excellence, loyalty and courage at the 23rd Annual
Police Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics Recognition Luncheon. These
honorees have distinguished themselves in dedicated public service and
outstanding performance to the Northwest San Fernando Valley.
Seven Los Angeles Police Officers and six Los Angeles
Firefighters and Paramedics will be receiving various awards during the
Ceremony.
On a special note; one of the award recipients, Detective
Anthony R. Stavropoulos will be posthumously honored for his life long
service to the community. His family members will be present to receive the
"Outstanding Detective of the Year Award", in his honor.
