"Los Angeles Police Commissioners Invite the Public to Attend the Swearing in Ceremony for Chief William J. Bratton

Angelenos are cordially invited to attend the Swearing In Ceremony for William J. Bratton, who will accept the honor of being the fifty-fourth Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department on October 28, 2002.

Elysian Park, CA

WHEN:
Monday, October 28, 2002
11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Those in attendance include Mayor James Hahn, Police Commissioners Rick J. Caruso, David S. Cunningham, III, Bert Boeckmann, Rose Ochi and Silvia Saucedo, members of Los Angeles City Council, elected officials, Community Police Advisory Board members, the Chief’s Forum members, students from the Los Angeles Police Magnet Schools, and the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Vocal Pro from the Performing Arts Center of Hollywood High School, the Los Angeles Police Band, and the LAPD Pipe Band will be performing at the event.
