18 Year-Old Girl Reported Missing

Los Angeles: The family of 18 year-old Isela Ruan Garcia and the Los Angeles Police Department request the public’s assistance in locating her.

Isela Ruan Garcia was last seen on September 20, 2002, at approximately 7:00 a.m. leaving her residence on the 600 block of West 78th Street. Isela was enroute to an unscheduled doctor’s appointment at USC County Medical Center in East Los Angeles. According to family members, Isela never made it to the appointment.

According to family members, Isela’s mental health is good and she does not take any medication. Isela’s physical condition is also described as good. Isela Ruan Garcia gave no indication that she would be gone for any length of time. She has no prior history of unexpected absence. According to those who know Isela, this is unlike her to not contact anyone.

Isela Ruan Garcia was last seen wearing a blue, long sleeve blouse, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a small black purse.
