Pedestrian Struck at Cross Walk Dies From Injuries

 

Los Angeles- On October 8, 2003 at 1935 hours, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Victory Boulevard and Greenbush Avenue in the Van Nuys Area.

According to Witnesses, a 1992 Chevy Caprice Classic being driven by Waclaw Grolman, a 57 year-old resident of Van Nuys, was heading east on Victory Boulevard. when he struck a pedestrian.

The 66 year-old victim was crossing from the north west corner to the south west corner in the unmarked crosswalk when Grolman struck him. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported to Holy Cross Hospital where he died of his injuries. The victim’s name is being withheld until his family has been notified.

Waclaw Grolman was not arrested or cited, however, an investigation is being conducted by Valley Traffic Division Detectives.
