Neighbor to Neighbor Resource Fair

Northeast Area Neighbor to Neighbor Resource Fair

WHO:
Representatives from the Mayor Office, Representatives from Los Angeles City Councilman Ed Garcetti’s Office, Neighborhood Watch Groups and Various Other Community Groups.

WHEN:
Saturday, October 25, 2003
11:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Los Angeles: The Northeast Area Community Police Station will host its 2nd Neighbor to Neighbor Resource Fair.

The fair is designed to empower the community of Atwater Village with information to improve the quality of life, heightened crime prevention awareness, generate participation in local and anti-crime efforts and to strengthen neighborhood-police community partnerships.

Northeast area consists of 22 diverse communities with approximately 250,000 residents. The Northeast neighborhood has been plagued by gang activity for years. The fair will help community members to get to know one another in order to take back their neighborhood streets.

There will be activities for all ages, music and live entertainment.
