Witness Information Results in Arrest of Murder Suspects

 

Los Angeles: Pacific Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 22 year-old Anthony R. Palmer.

On Saturday, October 18, 2003, Mr. Palmer was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Ramsgate Avenue and Manchester Avenue when three male Hispanic suspects drove up along the drivers window and began shooting at him. Moments after the shooting, a witness provided Pacific patrol officers and LAX officers with information, resulting in the arrest of the three suspects. The murder weapon as well as the suspects vehicle, are also in police custody.

The three suspects, 25 year-old Juan Mejia, 24 year-old Julio Hernandez and 20 year-old Octavio Vizcaino were placed under arrest for 187 P.C. (Murder).

The motive is unknown at this time.
