Brink’s Armored Truck Extortion

 

Los Angeles: The Robbery-Homicide Division of the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the theft of United States currency from the Brink’s Armored Truck Company.

On October 3, 2004, at approximately 6:45p.m., Robbery-Homicide Division Detectives were advised of an extortion involving a Brink’s armored truck driver.

Robbery-Homicide Detectives were advised that the employees of the armored truck had delivered an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency to a waiting four door, black, Dodge pick-up truck with tinted windows located in the area of the area of San Pedro and 29th Street. The vehicle was last observed eastbound 29th Street.
