Chief's Monthly News Availability Press Conference

Chief’s Monthly News Availability

When:
Thursday, October 7, 2004, at 11:30 a.m.

Where:
North Valley Area Police Station, 11121 North Sepulveda Boulevard, Mission Hills, California

Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Monthly News Availability Meeting, hosted by Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton. Also in attendance will be Mayor James K. Hahn, City Council President Alex Padilla, and North Valley Commanding Officer, Captain Kirk Albanese. This news availability is consistent with Chief Bratton’s mandate to foster an attitude of openness and cooperation between the Department and the public/media.

Chief Bratton will discuss the City’s current crime trends and crime statistics. Along with Mayor Hahn and Councilman Padilla, he will discuss the progress of the Department’s new 19th Police Station.

Members of the media will be given the opportunity to ask questions to the Chief.
