14 Year-Old Bicyclist Shot and Killed

 

Los Angeles: On October 9, 2004, at about 2:10 p.m., victim Byron Lee was riding his bicycle westbound through the alley west of McKinley Avenue between 81st Street and 82nd Street. Two male Black suspects in an older model car followed the victim and fired one round. The suspects exited their vehicle and approached the victim who was already wounded. The suspects then shot the victim multiple times with handguns. The suspects then fled in their vehicle westbound through the alley toward Stanford Avenue.

The motive for this crime is unknown at this time.
