Los Angeles: On October 20, 2004, at about 11:30 p.m., a multiple victim shooting occurred in the 2000 block of 96^th Street. The victims were in the front of the location when rival gang members drove by and shot them. Andre Cherry, 20 years old, was transported to a local hospital where he died. Another victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound.

The victims and suspects were involved in gang activity.
