Fatal Shooting in Foothill

Los Angeles: On October 20, 2004, at about 8:55 p.m., Foothill Officers received a radio call involving shots fired in the 13000 block of Filmore Street in the Pacoima area of Foothill Division. Responding units found three shooting victims at the scene. Adrian Gonzalez, a 24 year-old resident of South Pasadena, was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department personnel. Pedro Navarro, unknown age, and Maximino Navarro, 23 years-old, who were both residents of Pacoima, were transported to local hospitals and treated for gunshot wounds.

The investigation revealed the victims were standing in the rear driveway in the 11000 block of Sutter Avenue. A silver or gray SUV stopped near the victims and someone in the vehicle yelled something at the group. An unknown person in the vehicle fired numerous times into the group, striking three victims. The shooting suspect was described as a 26 year-old Hispanic man with a shaved head and a goatee.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Foothill Detective Division 818-834-3115. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
