Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Community Police Station will host a community open house and haunted jail chambers.

For the second year in a row, this free event will offer children free face painting, arts and crafts and a complimentary goodie bag filled with candy. Displays will include the Mounted and K-9 units. For adults, information on recruitment, Special Weapons And Tactics, and Valley Traffic enforcement will be available.

North Hollywood Division’s Captain Sweet hopes the community will take advantage of this opportunity not only to have fun, but meet the officers who proudly serve their community.

Additional information may be obtained by calling the North Hollywood Community Relations Office, at 818-623-4001.

This news advisory was prepared by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section, at 213-485-3586.
