77th Street Community Police Station Open House

What:
Weekend Carnival and Haunted House Events

When:
Friday, October 28, 2005 through Sunday, October 30, 2005

Open House:      October 29, 2005, 10:00AM to 4:00PM
Carnival:            October 28, 2005 thru October 30, 2005,12:00PM to 10:00PM
Haunted House: October 28, 2005 thru October 30, 2005 6:30PM to 10:00PM

Where:
77th Street Community Police Station
7600 South Broadway
Los Angeles, Ca 90003

Why:
The open house will include a Carnival, a tour of 77th Street Community Police Station, display booths, and a haunted house. 

Gun safety locks will be given away as part of Operations Safe Neighborhoods

The purpose of the open house is to familiarize businesses and community members with the Department, and provide a safe environment for the community during the Halloween weekend.

Starting Friday at 8:00 AM, high school students will be at 77th Station, helping to build the haunted house.  They will work the haunted house, along with officers, through the weekend.
