Mission Area Town Hall Meeting What: The Mission Area and Community Police Advisory Board is sponsoring a Town Hall Meeting promoting Community Policing and Neighborhood Watch. When: Saturday, October 7, 2006 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Registration at 9:30 AM Opening Ceremony at 10:00 AM Where: Sylmar Park Recreation Center Auditorium 13109 Borden Avenue Sylmar, CA 91342 Who: Councilman Alex Padilla Deputy Chief Michel Moore, OVB Captain Jorge A. Villegas Captain John Incontro Assembly Member Cindy Montanez Deputy City Attorney Ayelet Levy Feiman Community Leaders Why: The purpose of this Town Hall meeting is to inform the community of the philosophy of "Community Policing" and to train community stakeholders in creating Neighborhood Watches. This meeting encourages community members to address their concerns with the department and community representatives.
