Why:
Metropolitan Division is celebrating its 18th annual Open House. The public is invited to meet officers up close and tour the state-of-the-art Ahmanson Equestrian Center.
Demonstrations by the Mounted, SWAT, and K9 officers will occur throughout the day. Additionally, displays by specialized units of the Police Department and other government agencies will be shown.
A climbing wall will be available and complimentary refreshments will be served.
