Halloween Traffic Safety Tips

Why:
Every year on Halloween, the streets are filled with children dressed in different costumes. With darkness upon us as early as 5:30 in the evening and children out trick or treating as late as 10:00 p.m., it is crucial to remind motorist to be mindful of the children.
The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles School Police will educate the public on safety measures. The children will receive a reflective trick or treat bag imprinted with Halloween traffic safety messages.
