WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 1,035 hours of training over the course of 32 weeks. There are 46 males and 6 females in the graduating class. The ethnic breakdown of the class is 19 Caucasians, 30 Hispanics, 1 Korean, 1 Chinese, and 1 Cambodian.
The graduating class includes 52 LAPD officers, 6 General Services Police Department officers, and 10 Los Angeles World Airport Police Department officers.
