Hit and Run Driver Sought
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department traffic detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the hit and run driver responsible for the death of 76-year old Francisco Pedraza.
On Friday, October 24, 2008, at about 11:15 a.m., Mr. Pedraza was crossing 3000 block of Olympic Boulevard when he was struck by a possible white Honda. The Honda was westbound on Olympic at the time, but did not stop to render any assistance to the victim.
The driver was described as a Hispanic male.
Mr. Pedraza was taken to USC Medical Center where he died a short time later as a result of his injuries. He is a resident of Huntington Park.
