Indecent Exposure/Child Annoying Suspect Arrested NR11492ne

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Foothill Division detectives are seeking for possible additional victims of 28-year-old Roderico Arael Lopez.  Lopez was arrested on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011, for multiple counts of offenses related to “child annoying.”

Lopez would drive his red van throughout the San Fernando Valley in the areas of both elementary and high schools and get the attention of young girls walking to school.  Lopez would expose himself and masturbate while still inside the van.  There were a total of eleven reports taken in past months.

On October 20, 2011, the case will be presented to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for multiple counts of child annoying, indecent exposure and lewd conduct.  He is being held on $20,000 dollars bail and has an immigration hold.

Lopez is a resident of North Hollywood.  He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and wears his hair short, combed to the side.  Detectives investigating the case believe there may be additional victims.
