National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality

WHY:        
To advise the media of parking and staging locations for the protest and rally

Media Parking and Staging Areas

The march will start at Pershing Square, and media will be allowed to park on the west side of Hill Street south of 5th Street just south of the Pershing Square Stairs.The media will be allowed to stage east of the initial rally point.  Media will be allowed to proceed to the rear and follow the march to the end rally point at MacArthur Park if they wish to do so.

The march will end at MacArthur Park where media will be allowed to park on the west side of Parkview Street south of 6th Street. The #1 Media viewing area will be due west of the rally point which is scheduled to be on the west end of the park. In the event that the rally point occurs near the north east side of the park, the secondary media viewing location will be on the northwest corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Alvarado Street.
