Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by a Vehicle NR12471cn

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at around 6:50 p.m., a 31-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of Los Angeles, was seriously injured and transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.  The traffic collision occurred at North Mission Road and Superior Court. The motorcyclist was driving northbound on North Mission Road when he struck a 1994 Honda Civic making a left turn from southbound North Mission Road to eastbound Superior Court. The driver of the Honda was a 24-year-old resident of Los Angeles.

No crime was committed and both drivers where licensed.  The case is under investigation by LAPD Central Traffic Detectives.
